Greater Vancouver Branch of the Navy League of Canada
About us
The Navy League of Canada provides most of its services through our 217 local Branches. We promote Maritime Affairs by supporting Canada’s youth through maritime-themed programs. There are two separate programs: the Navy League Cadets, for youth aged 9 to 12, and the Royal Canadian Sea Cadet program, for youth aged 12 to 18, which is delivered in partnership with the Department of National Defense.
What We Do
Navy League of Canada Branches support the Sea Cadet and Navy League Cadet corps in their communities. The Greater Vancouver Branch specifically supports 47 RCSCC Captain Vancouver Sea Cadets and 15 NLCC Captain Rankin Navy League Cadets. Built entirely of volunteers, we work with community stakeholders to raise funds and stimulate community involvement with the program.
How to Support Us!
Funding for both these programs is raised through donations from various organizations/individuals, grants, and fundraising events. Through the generosity of our community, we are able to support these 2 programs and contribute to the development of youth in Canada.
